Are You Struggling With Anxiety or Depression?
Do you worry a lot about what other people think about you? Do you doubt yourself or even self-sabotage? Do you find that when you do something imperfectly you can’t stop thinking about it for hours or even days? Do you worry that you are not good enough the way you are?
To some extent, you are aware it may be your inner critic, but in those moments you are overwhelmed, stressed out and maybe even feeling hopeless.
Don’t give up. It is possible to gain some perspective on what is happening and work through it. Learn to trust yourself. Learn to be compassionate and supportive of yourself instead of beating yourself up. Become more self-aware so that you can have a better relationship with yourself and be better able to deal with any situation that comes your way.
Individual Therapy can help!
While therapy is not always easy, nor is it a quick fix, it is valuable for gaining self-awareness along with plenty of self-help tools, so you can more easily manoeuvre through difficult moments in life.
Our therapy style varies based on the needs of each individual client. We use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic, Mindfulness and numerous other therapeutic tools to support and guide you in increasing self-esteem for the long term, by helping you in creating a healthy, supportive relationship with yourself.
What is Online Therapy Like?
We use an online telehealth company and platform for the live video sessions. It is HIPPA compliant and easy to use. You will receive an email with a link for the video session. Just follow the instructions to download the app (only if using a mobile device) and then to access our private room. You and I will be able to see and hear each other, just as in-person therapy. My approach is the same as in-person therapy; I will ask you questions, listen, be empathetic, and offer new perspectives to allow you a new way of thinking.
